Okay this is... strange. This all started because this guy was using my DA avatar and a bunch of people noted me... hoping to stop people noting me and to stop people from thinking this guy was me, I asked him to remove it. He took that as an open invitation to talk to me through notes. Since I usually play on the internet every night to wind down and go to sleep I humored him with replies.

It got weird.

So that's why I'm posting it for you guys to enjoy. The first reply was from my apology of sounding grumpy /tired when I asked him to change it(which I probably sound grumpy/tired in all of these replies because I am exhausted. I actually came back to my dorm to take a brief nap before working more...)

It's ironic because I actually chose to do my writing arts essay based on the artist-audience tendency to over analyze artists and their works to death even if the artist says "no I just drew this because it was fun"

Regardless am I just weird or does this guy sound really strange?

I also have to say I become really annoyed when I'm not allowed to dislike my own, old work. There are pieces I still like, but it's healthy for an artist to dislike their own work, I think.

Seriously, I'm going to school to make cartoons... I believe cartoon and animation is an art, yes, but I'm not one of those artists that's all into the deeper, underlying message of my deepest and darkest secrets.

Fell off the face of LJ again... not that that's anything new. Once again, the trinity of a) a lack of anything I think worthy of bringing up here; b)sheer lack of motivation; and c) not wanting to subject any of you to what feels to me like whiny self-pity conspired to keep me away.

But I saw The Princess and the Frog today, and it made me so glad the execs at Disney brought 2D animation back. Hope it leads to a bunch more, you people.

Also, a thank you to [info]bri_chan for the sketch. She's gorgeous, and worth more than I paid.

A sad coincidence is that, on the ride home from the theater, I heard on the radio that Roy Disney, Walt's nephew and the man who held the family torch after his uncle's and father's work, died today from stomach cancer. Thanks for everything you did to bring some magic to my life, Roy.

IT GETS WORSE LOLOL.

http://www.edmontonsun.com/news/edmonton/2009/12/13/12141366.html

Edmonton was the coldest place in North America yesterday morning and the second chilliest in the world. The Edmonton International Airport saw a record low of -46.1 C (-51 F) and -58.4 C (-73.1 F) with the windchill, outfreezing even the Arctic.

"The cold high pressure has been moving down from the Arctic over the Prairies," said Environment Canada meteorologist John McIntyre, adding British Columbia and Saskatchewan also experienced plummeting temperatures. "We are right now in the centre of the heaviest, coldest air."

Only Dzalinda, Siberia, appeared to be colder, with a weather station there recording temperatures of -48 C (-54.4 F). But the coldest day ever recorded in Edmonton remains unbeaten at -48.3 C (-54.9 F) with a windchill of -61 C (-77.8 F) on Jan. 26, 1972.

Hey 8D We've had a windchill worse than -61, I saw it 2 years ago... though, not an actual temperature quite that low. And would you believe that epicly freezing -40 is actually very pretty to look at?

Frozen Bedroom Window is Frozen. This is not the pretty I was referring to FYI XD I don't have a picture of that *stayed away from aknowledging the outdoors*

Yahoo weighs in on our plight - http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/091213/canada/canada_edmonton_calgary_frigid_weather

On Saturday, Calgary police duty Insp. Rob Williams was travelling on the northbound Macleod Trail near the 22X overpass when he spotted what appeared to be a large, multi-vehicle collision.

In fact, several cars had screeched to a halt when a tiny kitten, searching for a place to get out of the cold, had wandered onto the busy road, which has a 80 km/h speed limit. The scared kitten climbed up into the engine compartment of one of the stopped cars, Williams said in a news release, and several drivers tried to retrieve the kitten with no luck.

Working together after nearly 30 minutes in -25 C conditions, one man jacked up the front of the small car while another crawled underneath. Williams pushed the kitten down through a tiny opening to the undercarriage where it was safely retrieved.

Oh god the poor thing *virtual hug*

Can I has Global Warming too?

AND IN OTHER NEWS.

Posted in Fahrenheit for the majority... and the minority can probably figure out that it's effin cold tonight.

The outside set of glass windows in my bedroom window is litterally caked in ice. Like, the whole frame around the glass pane. I couldn't move it even if I blow dried it for hours. (I have a double set of glass window panes in my bedroom so it can be staggered).

I made the mistake of walking to walmart (:< My milk went bad) without my neck fleece... and my nose was about ready to fall off by the time I got to the Walmart doors. Seriously. It's only across the street.

Can Wednesday get here quickly please?
